Undergraduate participation in research is a longstanding tradition in the Department of
Computer Science and Engineering.
The Undergraduate Research Opportunities Program (UROP) was formally founded in 1992 by
Ken Goldman, who continues to coordinate the program.
The goal of UROP is to match undergradutes with available research positions.
The original web site and database design and implementation was done by Alvin Young (alvinyy@yahoo.com). For assistance with, or suggestions about the site, contact: David Butler or Wayne Lewis.
